Today I am interviewing Timothy Clark who is the founder and CEO of LeaderFactor.
Timothy shares how it is important to create a psychological safe environment to enable your people to flourish and ultimate help the organisation thrive. Timothy defines psychological safety as 'an environment of rewarded vulnerability', when our vulnerability is rewarded, we engage, contribute meaningfully, and enter an offensive mode of performance. We give of our discretionary effort and spend our time creating value. He then goes on to share the four stages of creating a psychological safe organisation. These stages are, stage 1: Inclusion safety, stage 2: Learner safety, stage 3: Contributor safety and stage 4: Challenger safety. We also discussed the impact of the pandemic in that it is liquefying the status quo and creating opportunities for culture transformation if embraced.

Today I am interviewing Dave Buzanko who is a resilient coach.
Resilience is vital in any organisation and so important to develop within your people, Dave shares how his own life experiences has developed resilience. In 2008, Dave survived business sabotage from one of his largest customers. He also survived the stress induced heart crisis that followed due to years of chronic stress, mindless eating and a workaholic mindset. Because of those experiences, Dave was given 2 choices by the E.R. doctor “go on heart and cholesterol medication for the rest of his life or lose the weight and get in shape.” Where do you even begin? Dave chose the get in shape and pursued Ironman challenges, and in fact has completed 3 and is on his way to the 4th, he uses the aspect of Ironman training to develop resilience in leadership today, a man who is truly walking the talk in resilience.

Today I am interviewing Kenneth Bombace who is the CEO of Global Threat Solutions.
Kenneth shares how he has lead in the very uncertain times we have all had in the last 18 months, where he has not stranger to uncertain times since he has led all Protection Operations for one of the largest police departments in the United States and as an Army Intelligence Officer he led policing and Counter Insurgency Operations in Samarra, Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. His one big advice is don't focus on profit margins but strive for sustainability, not just your company or your infrastructure of the business but on the people, maintain the talent with those who have been loyal and have served your mission and purpose.

Andrew shares how it is important of having advocates in your organisation, so that they share beyond the workplace of the positive views of the company, we also looked at how we can develop them to have a positive impact on the business. Andrew shared that you need to ensure you reward employees, make sure they know why they are there and aligned to the purpose of the company and create an environment where they feel proud of their work. And finally have the focus to create brand advocates that metaphorically 'people will wear the company shirt when they are not at work'.

Today I am interviewing Chris Wallace who is the Co-Founder & President of InnerView Group.
Chris shared how we should create alignment of who we stand for as a brand in an organisation with the employees, and ensuring that there is engagement in this process. Chris emphasised that engagement is vital, if you can engage employees in dialogue, they’ll start representing your brand and products in a more compelling way. The organisations investment in the messaging will strengthen them, give them confidence, and help them deliver an experience that far surpasses reciting facts without passion. And by engaging you turn the knowledge of the 'brand' into what they believe, and belief has immense power to create growth in sales, creativity and productivity.

Today I am interviewing Amy Lynn Durham who is the CEO of "Create Magic At Work" and a U.C. Berkeley Certified Executive Coach.
Amy shared how to create magic at work with spiritual intelligence, although it is important to be holistic in our approach, since we have PQ (physical intelligence), IQ and EQ as well, and making sure that these areas are also growing and developing throughout our lives. These factors build upon each other, e.g. if you are physically tired this PQ deficit will have an impact on your leadership, so we need to make sure these are all in order too. She also shares the many skills we can develop for SQ, based on the definition by Cindy Wigglesworth, SQ is defined as the ability to behave with wisdom and compassion while maintaining inner and outer peace regardless of the situation.
